TNT Title Match, Orange Cassidy In Action, Swerve Strickland, More Set For 5/8 AEW Dynamite

AEW is loading up the card for the May 8 episode of AEW Dynamite.

As announced on the May 1 episode, Adam Copeland will defend the TNT Championship against Brody King. Copeland defended the title against King’s House of Black stablemate Buddy Matthews on Wednesday.

Plus, the bitter feud between Orange Cassidy and Trent Beretta will continue when they clash in a singles match. Beretta beat Chuck Taylor in a Parking Lot Fight on the April 27 episode of AEW Rampage and attacked him after the bout.

Elsewhere on the show, AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland will call out Christian Cage after Cage and The Patriarchy attacked him on Wednesday.

Additionally, Serena Deeb will speak after the company announced that she will challenge AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm for the title at AEW Double or Nothing. Finally, Mariah May will face Harley Cameron.
